(Get Settled in Hampton Roads)

Why is it that when you move to a new place, with every good intention of getting settled in, you can't seem to find one resource to get all of the information you need in order to get a license, get your car registered, sign up for cable, water, gas and electric, register to vote, blah blah blah? I'm a highly organized person and if *I* have trouble, then I know others find it impossible to get it all done before starting a new job or getting completely unpacked and moved in. Below is what we have found, through trial and error. Hope it helps you!
