When Steph and I first moved to the area at the end of February 2008, we knew little more than the fact that there was a lot of water and ships. After doing the normal "getting settled" activities, we hit the streets to discover Hampton Roads. This site was born out of our desire to document our findings for ourself, like a scrapbook, as well as to share our experiences with others, who might not know just how wonderful our community really is.
